CB500X SOFT LUGGAGE SIDE RACKS

Suitable for all years of CB500X (2013-to date)

Our own unique design of side luggage racks, specifically for riders who prefer soft bags which still require a degree of support between the luggage and the bike itself.

These tapered low-profile racks locate close to the bodywork so the rear of the bike remains usefully narrow - allowing easy mounting and dismounting, and to remain visually unobtrusive when no luggage is attached. 

Although typically used to attach/support individual soft pannier bags (such as our recommended Giant Loop 'Siskiyou' Panniers, their narrow width means they can also help to support a more heavily laden 'horseshoe' or throw-over style one-piece luggage bag as required.

Manufactured from sturdy 16mm steel tubing and incorporating our tried-and-tested bespoke laser-cut infill panels which include dedicated mounting holes for the 1 US Gallon RotoPak fuel/water container QR brackets, while our optional rear luggage rack can also be easily attached directly on top to provide additional capacity. An additional storage feature unique to the CB500X, there is also enough space on the inside face of each rack to mount a tool-tube too.

With numerous slots for securing webbing straps, these racks are designed to work with all the popular soft luggage options - although we would recommend bags which mount in more of a horizontal rather than vertical orientation since the CB500X has a relatively limited amount of space above the exhaust silencer for very large bags. 

Supplied powder coated satin black with all fixings needed for easy installation, while the OEM cast grab handles do need to be removed, we ensured the passenger footrests are retained.

Note. These racks will NOT fit in conjunction with the R&G Tail Tidy and OEM indicators.
