TRIUMPH SCRAMBLER 400X FAT BAR CONVERSION KIT

Suitable for both the Triumph 400X and 400S

We designed our 'Fat Bar' Riser conversion kit for the 400X/S models so you can easily convert from the OEM handlebar size (7/8" or 22.2mm diameter) and replace them with increasingly popular and much stronger Tapered/Fat Bars (1-1/8" or 28.6mm diameter).

The Bar Riser saddle can be positioned so the bar centre is 10mm lower, OEM height or 10mm higher using the packers, and in conjunction with our recommended Renthal #609 Fat-Bars for example, can offer a more open cockpit feel and more relaxed position when standing on the pegs.

The one-piece Billet Top Clamp offers maximum rigidity, and also incorporates two sets of M4 thread screw holes in the AMPS pattern portrait and landscape, allowing you to fit a Garmin GPS mounting cradle directly (such as the Montana Rugged Mount), or attach various round/square/diamond shaped RAM ball mounts for other accessories.

All CNC machined parts are hard anodised black and come complete with all hardware fixings required.

Please note: that if you do plan change to aftermarket handlebars, we strongly recommend to you drill a 5mm hole at the correct location towards each end (as per the OEM handlebars), to securely locate the plastic clutch & throttle side switchgear.

IMPORTANT: ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH BARS THAT FEATURE A MINIMUM OF 135MM CLAMPING AREA.
