LEVEL 2 (+20mm) complete front & rear Suspension Upgrade KIT.
Our longer travel LEVEL 2 high quality big-bore Rallye-style rear shock was designed in partnership with TracTive Suspension in the Netherlands, and is manufactured exclusively for Rally Raid Products.
Designed to give increased performance under arduous conditions, the fully adjustable nitrogen-charged reservoir shock features an additional PDS damping circuit, and offers a dramatic improvement to rear suspension performance, while also allowing you to fine tune the bike to your own preferred characteristics. Featuring individual control of Rebound, High and Low Speed Compression damping, together with spring preload adjustment and a wide range of Spring Rates available at the point of purchase.
The LEVEL 2 rear shock can also be fitted with our optional Hydraulic Preload Adjuster, for quick and tool-less adjustment of the spring preload to dial-in your sag correctly for the conditions - be that between on-road and off-road use, or when carrying luggage or a passenger for example.
To complement this high-performance longer travel rear shock, our LEVEL 2 Fork Kit is designed to match the increased ride-height, while also offering spring preload adjustment for the fork, together with a choice of Standard (4.0 N/mm) or Heavy-Duty (4.5 N/mm) replacement fork springs.

OPTIONAL HYDRAULIC PRELOAD ADJUSTER (for G310GS LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2 rear shocks).
Our Hydraulic Preload Adjuster is designed for riders that want quick, easy adjustment of spring preload. It allows the preload to be adjusted over a range of +/-10mm with the simple turning of a knob. Approximately 20 turns will achieve the full movement of the preload piston travel, and the knob has a 'click' every half-turn to aid setting.
Quick tool-less preload adjustment is much preferred by those riders who wish to alter the preload/rear sag setting on a regular basis - typically when carrying extra luggage or a passenger, or when going from street to off-road travelling.
Supplied ready assembled on your shock together with the correct length/rate spring selected at the point of purchase.
LEVEL 2 Shock specification
46mm big-bore all aluminium body, with 16mm diameter Cro-mo shaft for increased stiffness (the same spec as our KTM 690 and Tenere 700 shocks).
Nitrogen charged separation piston and second PDS damping circuit for increased damping performance during extreme travel in arduous off-road conditions.
Individual High Speed and Low Speed Compression adjusters on the piggy-back reservoir. Separate Rebound Damping adjuster at base of shock.
Choice of four shock spring rates to suit a wide range of riders, loads and applications: 110 N/mm, 120 N/mm (standard), 130 N/mm and 140 N/mm - selected at the point of purchase from the menu above.
Optional Hydraulic Preload Adjuster can also be fitted to offer quick and tool-less adjustment of the shock spring preload over a +/-10mm range.
LEVEL 2 Fork Kit specification
The L2 Fork kit includes a pair of billet aluminium preload caps (right hand featuring a Preload adjuster together with a single [longer] linear-wound TracTive spring, which replaces the OEM spring and eliminates the OEM steel spacer.
Available in 2 spring weights: 4.0N/mm (standard) and 4.5N/mm (stiffer/heavy-duty) - selected at the point of purchase from the menu above.
The fork kit also comes complete with our own fitting tools: 16mm spanner, spring retainer, and 2 pin spanner to tighten new preload caps.
All Rally Raid Products / TracTive rear shocks are fully serviceable/rebuildable and come with a 2-year Manufacturer warranty.
G310GS Spring Rate guidelines:

| Rider weight (inc. clothing and light luggage up to 15Kg) = Total 85-105Kgs | 120 N/mm (Standard Spring) |
| Rider weight (inc. clothing and light luggage up to 15Kg) = Total 105-120Kgs | 130 N/mm (Harder Spring) |
Above 120kgs total rider & luggage weight select 140Nm spring, this is the maximum weight spring offered.
The +20mm increase in travel/right height of the LEVEL 2 suspension does raise the standard seat hight and increase the ground clearance by the corresponding amount.
Because of the +20mm increase in ride hight, the LEVEL 2 suspension is only sold together as a complete front & rear kit, including those dedicated tools to help fit the replacement fork internals.
The kit comes ready to fit - the only other item required is 1 litre of good-quality 10W fork oil, available from most local motorcycle stores.
note. Our LEVEL 2 Suspension Kit is designed to be a straightforward DIY fit, but does require some basic knowledge of fork disassembly and suspension work. If you do not feel able/or have the facilities to do this at home, we recommend you contact a suspension specialist to perform the work for you.
