Manufactured exclusively for Rally Raid Products by TracTive Suspension in the Netherlands, we designed our LEVEL 1 shock to address all the shortcomings of the OEM standard suspension, while retaining the same overall travel (230mm) and seat-height of the standard specification.

The LEVEL 1 shock is available with a wide range of spring rates to more closely match your rider weight and intended load and riding style requirements.

LEVEL 1 Shock specification in more detail

The shock body itself utilises a large diameter (46mm) piston assembly for primary damping control and more accurate control through the suspension stroke.

The internal components are all precision CNC machined from Cro-Mo and Stainless Steel, with the shock featuring a 16mm diameter shaft to improve overall strength & rigidity and ensure consistently smooth operation and durability.

•  16mm diameter shock shaft provides provides exceptional strength and smooth travel.

•  Dedicated Compression/Rebound damping adjuster easily accessed at the base of the shock.

• Manual Preload Adjuster option offers further adjustment for easy setting your initial sag and to quickly compensate for any additional loads.

The LEVEL 1 shock comes assembled with your choice of spring to suit your rider weight & luggage/passenger loads.

This shock is the choice for replacing your shock with a high end aftermarket product. It is especially suitable for when you do not need to change your damping in between tracks or when you are not looking for the optimum in damping control. This shock has a large damping adjustment range. Using the rebound adjuster, the damping can be adjusted with approximately 20 clicks. Every clicker adjustment brings a noticeable change in damping level. The rebound adjuster affects rebound damping and compression damping in a natural balance. The spring preload can additionally be adapted by using the tool supplied.

Spring rate guidelines

We suggest you weigh yourself wearing your typical riding apparel (including boots and helmet), and apply that to the following spring rate chart - depending on whether you plan to ride mainly solo, or with an amount of luggage and/or a passenger.

Suggested Spring Rate (based on rider weight)

95 N/mm - Typical Rider weight up to 77.5kg

100 N/mm - Rider weight of 77.5-92.5Kg

110 N/mm - Rider weight of 92.5-107.5Kg

120 N/mm - Rider weight of 107.5-122.5Kg

130 N/mm - Rider weight 122.5Kg-plus

Note. Our LEVEL1 shock features the same 230mm travel as the OEM shock, specifically so that the ground clearance and seat-height remain the same as standard.
