TUBELESS FRONT & REAR SPOKED WHEEL KIT - FEATURING BLACK ANODISED EXCEL RIMS.

21" front and 18" rear spoked wheel kit to fit KTM 390 Adv R & Enduro R 2025-on. 

With the introduction of our new black anodised EXCEL TUBELESS spoked wheels, we are now able to offer the same convenience with regard to puncture repair as you have with a cast tubeless wheel, but in a far more robust and repairable/rebuildable spoked wheel combination. 

Built around the legendary Excel Tagaso aluminium rims together with our own in-house design and manufactured hubs which accept all the OEM cush-drive, brake disc and ABS hardware (apart from rear hub which requires a new, different disc to be supplied with kit) these premium-quality wheels will enhance both the all-terrain performance and the style of your KTM 390 Adv R or Enduro R.

Each custom-built wheel kit consists of:

Front wheel: 21” diameter x 1,85 wide, 36 spoke, Excel Tagaso MT aluminium rim, laced with heavy-duty stainless steel spokes and nickel-plated brass nipples onto our own CNC machined billet aluminium front hub. 

Rear wheel: 18” diameter x 2.50 wide, 36 spoke, Excel Tagaso MT aluminium rim, laced with heavy-duty stainless steel spokes and nickel-plated brass nipples onto our own CNC machined billet aluminium rear hub - specifically designed to accept the OEM cush-drive assembly, and ABS sensor ring, but supplied with a new rear disc to fit our billet hub, but this will work with the OEM caliper.

Both front and rear hubs are manufactured from 6082T6 billet aluminium alloy, and black XYLAN coated for a durable finish.

Black anodised Excel Tegaso rims are Tubeless bead specific (MT type) and sealed using a vulcanising process, which is warrantied for 2-years from the manufacturer.

Another benefit of the vulcanizing process, is that in the event of a puncture that could not be repaired by normal tubeless repair, then the tubeless valve can be removed from the rim, then a normal inner tube fitted in order to carry on riding, until a more permanent repair can be completed.

Heavy-duty "Bulldog" stainless steel spokes have 60% greater tensile strength than typicial OEM specification mild-steel spokes, and benefit from inherent corrosion resistance. 

Our spoked wheels are supplied ready to fit with new bearings and seals, and accept all the OEM hardware to mount the rear sprocket cush-drive assembly, front brake disc rotor and both ABS sensor components (apart from rear hub which requires a new, different disc to be supplied with kit). All you need is your own choice of tyres.

Our rim sizes (21" x 1,85 front and 18" x 2,50 rear) were chosen specifically to enhance the off-road performance and all-round ability of the KTM 390 Adv R & Enduro R,, and allow a wide range of all-terrain 50/50 style tread pattern tyres to be fitted from any number of manufacturers. 

For the KTM 390 Adv R & Enduro R used in mixed terrain on and off-road riding scenarios, we would suggest you fit a 90/90-21" front size and 140/80 x 18" rear size tyre - and our recommended brand/model would be the Continental TKC80 Gen2, Anlas Capra-X , Kenda Big Blocks or similar in these sizes, which over the years and during many thousands of miles of mixed terrain riding, we've found work particularly well both on and off-road on the KTM 390 Adv R & Enduro R.

• High-tensile "Bulldog" spokes are 33% larger cross section, and consequently 60% stronger tensile strength than the OEM plated mild steel spokes, plus they are corrosion-proof.
• Nipples are nickel-plated brass, again, corrosion-proof, maintenance free.

Both rims are high-grade aluminium alloy EXCEL TEGASO, MT-type (tubeless specific)

The rim sizes are 21" x 1,85 front & 18" x 2,50 rear, 36 spoke hole pattern.

 OUR RECOMMENDATION IS A 140/80-18 REAR TYRE (which has a combined load capacity of 290kg total) OR ALTERNATIVELY THE POPULAR 120/90-18 PROFILE SIZE (which a slightly lower combined load capacity of 290kg) TYPICALLY AVAILABLE FROM ALL MAJOR TYRE MANUFACTURERS.

DO NOT USE ACID, OR ALKALI-BASED WHEEL CLEANERS TO REMOVE DIRT AND BRAKE DUST, AS THESE CAN CORRODE AND REMOVE THE POWDER-COATING AND TARNISH THE STAINLESS-STEEL AND NICKEL-PLATED BRASS NIPPLES. USE A PH-NEUTRAL CLEANER, OR SOAP AND WATER.
